Quran Racers Attendance, Cancellation & Make-Up Class Policy

At Quran Racers, we value our students’ learning time and our teachers’ commitment. This policy is designed to keep classes consistent, flexible when genuinely needed, and fair to both students and teachers.

  1. Teacher Absence

In the rare event that a teacher is unable to attend a scheduled class due to an emergency or other unavoidable circumstance, the missed class will be rescheduled at no additional cost to the student.

  1. Student Absence, Cancellation, and Emergencies

If a student is unable to attend a scheduled class, the student or parent should notify the teacher at least two hours before the class begins.

When at least two hours’ notice is provided, the class may be rescheduled as a make-up session at a mutually suitable time, subject to teacher availability.

If a student cancels less than two hours before the class or does not attend without prior notice, the class will normally be counted as completed and will not qualify for a make-up session.

However, we understand that genuine emergencies and unexpected circumstances can happen. Such situations will be treated with understanding and may be considered for a make-up class by Quran Racers Administration on a case-by-case basis.

  1. Late Arrival

Students are encouraged to join their classes on time.

If a student arrives late, the lesson will normally end at the originally scheduled time. If the teacher’s schedule allows, the teacher may choose to extend the lesson as a courtesy, but this cannot be guaranteed.

  1. Student Does Not Join the Class

If a student does not join at the scheduled time and cannot be reached, the teacher will remain available in the agreed online classroom for half of the scheduled lesson duration.

If the student does not join during this period and there is no genuine emergency or qualifying prior notice, the class will be treated as a missed class.

  1. Extended Breaks

If a student plans to take a break of more than one week, the student or parent should notify Quran Racers Administration in advance so that the study schedule and subscription can be appropriately arranged.

Shorter absences will normally be handled according to the attendance and make-up rules outlined above.

  1. Subscription Cancellation and Eligible Refunds

Students or parents who wish to discontinue their subscription should contact Quran Racers Administration.

Any refund that is eligible under this Attendance, Cancellation & Make-Up Class Policy will be issued by Quran Racers immediately once eligibility has been confirmed.

Please note that although Quran Racers will initiate an eligible refund without unnecessary delay, the time it takes for the funds to appear in the customer’s account may depend on the bank, card issuer, PayPal, or other payment provider used for the transaction.

Any refund request that falls outside this attendance policy will be handled according to Quran Racers’ applicable refund and subscription terms.

  1. Teacher Changes, Concerns, and Complaints

We want every student to feel comfortable and supported throughout their learning journey.

If a student or parent has any concern, difficulty, or complaint regarding their current teacher, they are encouraged to contact Quran Racers Administration directly.

The administration will review the situation professionally and, where appropriate, may arrange a change of teacher based on the student’s needs and teacher availability.

Students and parents should always feel comfortable raising concerns with us. Our priority is to maintain a respectful, productive, and positive learning experience.

  1. Teacher Responsibilities

Quran Racers teachers are expected to:

  • Attend classes punctually and consistently.
  • Follow the agreed curriculum and learning plan.
  • Provide the student or parent with a brief progress report or class update after every lesson, including relevant feedback, homework, or areas requiring further practice.
  • Provide appropriate learning materials and assignments when required.
  • Maintain professional, respectful, and supportive communication with students and parents.
  • Inform the student and administration as early as reasonably possible if an emergency affects a scheduled lesson.
  1. Student and Parent Responsibilities

Students and parents are expected to support consistent progress by:

  • Attending scheduled classes regularly and on time.
  • Following the agreed learning plan.
  • Informing the teacher promptly when a class cannot be attended.
  • Communicating with Quran Racers Administration regarding extended breaks, teacher concerns, or circumstances that may affect the student’s learning schedule.

Our aim is not to penalize students or families when genuine difficulties arise. Rather, these guidelines help us protect the learning time of students, respect the commitment of our teachers, and maintain a fair and organized system for everyone.

As the Prophet ﷺ said:

“Indeed, Allah loves that when one of you does a job, he perfects it.”

We sincerely appreciate your cooperation and commitment to these guidelines. We ask Allah to bless our students, families, and teachers, make their learning beneficial, and bring them closer to the Qur’an and the teachings of Islam.
